ART
- Art Galleries are abundant on Cape Cod. The Cape has a reputation for attracting artists, probably for as many reasons as there are artists. Provincetown, Wellfleet, Nantucket, and Chatham not far behind, have the highest concentrations of art galleries. But all the towns on the Cape offer some artwork for the art lover and the casual browser. Plan your vacation at any time of the year around an art experience. http://members.aol.com./capeartist/selman.html

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
- Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute is the largest independent marine science research facility in the U.S.
- Since 1971, Sea Education Association (SEA) has been a leader in marine education developing an understanding of the ocean and of its powerful role. SEA offers programs for college students and high school students. The idea is to give students the opportunity to study the ocean from a multitude of academic perspectives and to do it from the platform of a traditional sailing vessel. The SEA sailing vessels are 134 foot brigantines that operate year-round. The SSV Corwith Cramer sails the waters of the North Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea, while the SSV Robert C. Seamans sails the waters of the Northern and Tropical Pacific. Also, SEA is proud to offer $5,000 scholarships to motivated students from Cape Cod or the Islands for participation in our Woods Hole SEA Semester or SEA Summer Session programs: 2004/5 Winter, Spring and Summer. Requirements: Year-round resident of Cape Cod or the Islands currently enrolled in college or university. To Apply: ¨ Submit a completed SEA Semester application online at www.sea.edu . ¨ Submit a brief letter (1 page maximum) to the scholarship committee explaining “What Cape Cod Means To Me.” Deadline: ¨ No deadline!
